Autumn is here!
The 2017 striping season is coming to an end. Winter is just around the corner and now is a great time to take care of maintenance checks on your Skip-Line® electronics. Our talented team is standing by to help!

Your work is important, and so is proper maintenance of your equipment. The off-season is the perfect time to send in your Skip-Line electronics for their yearly inspection.

We’re here to give you the peace of mind you deserve. A yearly inspection will ensure that all of your Skip-Line electronics are running as they should be. If we find any problems, we’ll let you know and take care of them for you. That way, when you’re ready to go next striping season, nothing will hold you back or slow down your work.

We’ve created a helpful form to make it easier than ever to send your Skip-Line products in. Just click the link below. With this form, you’ll always be sure that you’ve sent us exactly what we need to know to take the best care possible of your equipment.

And now for something new

Skip-Line is pleased to announce new, improved counter channels for the SC-12 and MST-14 product lines.

The counter channels will allow the user to record width and/or color changes individually for each gun, providing enhanced records and job tracking. Counter channels will now fill in dynamically after a gun has footage associated with it.  Guns that haven’t been used won’t appear and clutter the screen.

Another useful feature of the improved counter channels is having the ability to collect data by a pattern. In the example below, the counter channels are showing left carriage distance by the gun combination. This feature may be useful to contractors that bill jobs by pattern distance.

Additionally, we have added a trip counter feature, which acts like the trip odometer on vehicles. You can clear any trip counter individually, but the regular counters will remain intact, preserving your job footages and application rates.  This feature may be useful for tracking a subsection of a job.

If you are interested in adding this feature to your existing SC-12 or MST-14 system please contact Skip-Line or your preferred OEM.  The remote USB update process is simple – files will be emailed upon request.

***Note that if the vehicle has a DL-12 Data Logging System, the latest generic update will be required to work with an SC-12 or MST-14 that has updated counter channels.  This update (and instructions) are located here:

We’re looking forward to helping you with your annual inspections.
Have a safe and happy Halloween, from all of us here at Skip-Line.
